Life in Coronaville

just a quick note. a bunch of people have asked how i’m doin’ – since i’ve not penned anything in here lately.

like everyone else, maybe moreso, i’m doin’ the best i can. i haven’t felt like writing about coronaville – i don’t think i have much to add to the story.

well everyone in the assisted living place is stuck in their rooms.

not exactly. you go out at “your own risk” the warning says. two weeks ago, as if i can keep dates straight, i was in the Sinai emergency room. that was my choice as i fell getting off the toilet.

even then that was like being swallowed by a great whale, and walking around with a dripping candle.

In the beginning, nobody seemed to take this seriously. we were still eating together in the dining room two weeks ago. and waiting, side by side to get food to go.

most of the blue coats didn’t believe this was something real cause they couldn’t see it yet. you have to realize that the place is overrun with dementia type patients. some leave their room and ask anyone they can find whether it is time for breakfast… the are told to get back in their rooms.

more later… someone just ran into the room dumped a container of what on my table… and dashed out.
