100 Gun Salute

Central Park over Turtle Pond

Everyone dressed in olden uniforms. It was loud. This is film, but I’d have to look thru thousands of negs to find the shots. Was it a revolutionary anniversary? And yes. American Historical commemorative but which one.

Anyway it looks cosmic. Yes, an American flag – lower border.

This is Turtle Pond in Central Park. It looks like a Japanese watercolor. The mist, is actually the result of a lot of cannon smoke from a Fourth of July celebration. The white edifice in the background that looks like a pagoda is actually the castle across Turtle Pond. You can just get the outlines of it in the print.
